Location: We are a fully remote organisation, with colleagues working from locations across the UK. While most of our day-to-day collaboration takes place online, we come together regularly for team meetings, planning days, board meetings, events and our annual conference, The Gathering.
Working hours: 0.6 FTE (equivalent of 3 days per week)
Salary: £50,000 (£30,000 pro rata)

Join Engage as our new Finance, Governance & Operations Manager!
This is an exciting time to join Engage as we begin a new chapter. As Finance, Governance & Operations Manager, you will work closely with the Director to ensure Engage is financially sustainable, well-governed and operationally effective. You’ll play a key role in helping shape the organisation’s future direction while ensuring the systems, information and organisational foundations needed to deliver our ambitions are in place.

Who are we looking for?
Working closely with the Director, you’ll help ensure that Engage is financially sustainable, well-governed and operationally effective. You’ll oversee finance, governance, HR and organisational systems, while providing the insight and support needed to inform decision-making, manage risk and support long-term planning.
You’ll work across a broad range of areas, from budgeting and financial reporting to governance, trustee support, organisational development and funding readiness. Along the way, you’ll help improve systems and processes, strengthen organisational resilience, and create the conditions that allow our organisation to meet its ambitions.
We’re looking for someone who enjoys bringing clarity to complexity and who can move comfortably between strategic thinking and practical delivery. You’ll be an excellent collaborator with strong financial and organisational skills, sound judgement, and a proactive approach to problem solving. Most importantly, you’ll be motivated by the opportunity to contribute to an organisation that champions the people, practice and value of art engagement across the UK.
