The Autism Knowledge and Expertise Department ensures that the information we provide about autism is accurate, evidence‑based and up‑to‑date. It delivers three streams of work: Autism Evidence and Knowledge, Evaluation and Impact, and Research Partnerships and Participation. This role sits within the Evidence and Knowledge Team, which develops high‑quality, reliable information and resources grounded in robust research and lived experience.About the Role
This three‑year fixed‑term role is an exciting opportunity to join a dedicated team producing consistent, evidence‑based knowledge and understanding of autism. You will search, analyse and summarise guidance, research and lived experiences—particularly on autism interventions—to help us deliver high‑quality, accessible information. Your work will support the creation of an online interventions hub and ensure our charity’s outputs are accurate, balanced and grounded in solid evidence.What You’ll Do
Use structured processes to search, analyse and summarise online guidance, research and lived experiences relating to autism interventions
Develop clear, evidence‑based online information for autistic people, families and professionals
Research and gather evidence across a range of autism‑related topics
What We’re Looking For
Proven experience of researching, gathering, critiquing and summarising complex information
Ability to assess research quality and identify the most relevant evidence
Experience producing clear, accurate and accessible information

This advert is for a full-time, fixed-term 3-year position at 35 hours per week.
This role is remote.

Possession of an Enhanced DBS Check either on the Update Service or conducted within the last 12 months would be preferable but not essential if its applicable to your role.
