    About the role 

    Macmillan’s Electronic Holistic Needs Assessment (eHNA) is a vital digital tool that helps ensure people living with cancer and other long-term conditions receive personalised care that addresses their physical, emotional, practical, and financial concerns. Used by over 130 organisations across the NHS and beyond, eHNA facilitates meaningful conversations between healthcare professionals and patients, capturing concerns, actions, and outcomes to support better care planning.

    As Strategic Lead, you will be responsible for driving the continued success, growth, and evolution of the eHNA product. This includes leading strategic partnerships, overseeing day-to-day operations such as marketing, contracting, onboarding, and training, and collaborating across Macmillan and with external stakeholders to ensure eHNA delivers maximum impact.

    This role can be performed largely from home with occasional travel to Macmillan offices or client partners.

    About you: 
     
    The successful candidate will demonstrate the following skills and experience: 

    • Proven ability to lead and evolve systems or processes in complex healthcare environments, with direct experience working within or alongside the NHS.

    • Deep understanding of NHS structures, commissioning, procurement, and data governance, particularly in relation to cancer services and patient pathways.

    • Strong influencing and relationship-building skills, with experience representing organisational interests in national healthcare data conversations and policy forums.

    • Operational management experience, including designing and maintaining processes for product delivery, onboarding, training, and partner support across the UK.

    • Skilled in stakeholder engagement and contract negotiation, with the ability to manage re-contracting processes and resolve governance queries in collaboration with legal and policy teams.
