Responsibilities of our Digital Marketing Officer:
The Digital Marketing Officer is responsible for supporting teams with the delivery of the charity’s paid digital marketing programme. This includes delivering and reporting on both paid social channels and search-based channels including PPC, Programmatic and SEO.
The successful candidate will work towards delivering the charity’s key objectives through paid digital activity, helping to build our Cats Protection brand and raise awareness of who we are and what we do whilst engaging with existing and potential supporters and fundraisers.

We sit within the Marketing & Income Generation directorate
The Brand and Marketing team are responsible for delivering our vision for Cats Protection to be seen as the leading cat charity known for its innovative, effective approach and positive impact on society.

What we’re looking for in our Digital Marketing Officer:
Experience of digital marketing, ideally with experience of working with external agencies within the third sector
Specialist knowledge of digital across a range of search-based channels including PPC, Programmatic and SEO and paid social
Proven track record of achieving digital marketing growth against agreed target
Data protection and fundraising legislation and codes of practice and implications for digital fundraising
In depth knowledge and understanding of digital advertising best practice, key trends and ideas
