  The role

  We are looking for a Deputy Director - Research, Insight & Evaluation to lead our team working on all things data, research, evidence, insight and evaluation.

  What you'll do

  • Coach and mentor people to achieve objectives and deliver their best work.

  • Develop a high performing team with a strong culture.

  • Promote growth and development for people and the sharing of knowledge.

  • Ensure effective resource allocation and alignment of work.

  • Use your skills and experience in research, analysis and/or evaluation to add value to specific projects, and to inspire and motivate.

  • Champion the culture of data-driven, evidence-based and impact-focused work across the charity.

  What you'll need

  • Strong skills and well-established experience in mixed methods research, analysis and/or evaluation.

  • Experience leading and managing a team of people.

  • An open, collaborative, enterprise mindset with a passion for developing yourself and others.

  • Strong digital skills and a sound understanding of agile values & principles.

  • A criminal record check / DBS disclosure (if offered the position).
