Salary: Up to £60,000 per annum (depending on experience)

    The team

    The Data & Analytics team plays a central role in shaping how Energy Saving Trust uses data to drive innovation, improve services, and support our mission. As part of our Marketing, Digital and Technology Centre of Excellence, we are a collaborative, forward-thinking team that values curiosity, creativity and continuous learning. Working closely with colleagues across the organisation, we develop data products and insights that inform decision-making and help us deliver greater impact.

     

    The role    

    As our new Data & Analytics Lead, you will shape and deliver our data strategy, leading a high-performing team to develop innovative data products and services. You’ll champion a data-driven culture across the organisation, ensuring our data capabilities support both our mission and commercial goals.

     

    This is a strategic and hands-on leadership role, where you’ll have the opportunity to influence how we use data to address the climate emergency, improve customer experiences, and drive operational excellence. You’ll also play a key role in supporting our approach to emerging technologies, including AI.

     

    What you’ll do  

    • Lead the development and implementation of our data and analytics strategy

    • Oversee a portfolio of data products and services, ensuring they deliver value and impact to customers and clients

    • Manage and support a team of technical experts, fostering a culture of innovation and continuous improvement

    • Champion the use of data across the organisation, supporting a shift towards a more data-driven culture

    • Provide strategic oversight for our CRM and AI programme and contribute to business development proposals

     

    What you’ll bring  

    • Proven experience leading data and analytics functions, ideally in the energy or sustainability sector

    • Strong technical expertise in data visualisation, analytics tools, and programming languages (e.g. Power BI, Python, R, SQL)

    • A passion for data innovation and emerging technologies, including AI

    • Excellent leadership and project management skills, with experience managing budgets, teams and contractors

    • A collaborative mindset and strong communication skills, with the ability to influence at all levels
