As Clinical Lead in Scotland, you will be responsible for creating and nurturing the relationship between Big Health UK and NHS teams in Scotland. You will work collaboratively with internal and external stakeholders, including Primary Care stakeholders, Area Drug & Therapeutic Committees and Scottish Government’s Digital Mental Health Teams, to ensure the clinical and professional delivery of Big Health treatments and educational resources in the NHS is effective, sensitive, sustainable and aligned with NHS priorities.
You will be an external champion for digital therapeutics and also be a point of escalation for clinical safety issues across the teams. You will report to our UK Medical Director. This post will be part-time, 2 days per week.
Key Responsibilities
Develop and execute market access strategies to implement our digital therapeutics in NHS Scotland services, partnering with NHS teams in Effective Prescribing, Primary Care & Digital Mental Health.
Provide clinical guidance and support to NHS teams, including Quality Improvement, training and educational materials, staying alert to clinical priorities connected to system-level policies and goals.
Lead collaborative real-world evaluation with NHS teams to measure the impact of our digital therapeutics and the effectiveness of different implementation channels.
Build and maintain an active community of highly engaged NHS referrers and clinical champions across regions to drive greater adoption of our digital therapeutics.
Shape and execute Big Health’s thought leadership, through written content and presentation at webinars and conferences.
Ensure the safety of our patients, acting as a first line of clinical support in the UK providing in-hours clinical risk escalation management supported by the UK Medical Director.
Required Qualifications
Current professional registration as a clinical pharmacist and 5+ years’ experience in the NHS in Scotland
Deep understanding of Primary Care & ADTC teams and workflows and ideas for where our digital therapeutics could fit
Strong network of colleagues across primary care and multidisciplinary roles
Experience bringing innovative products to market and driving adoption in NHS clinical settings
Skilled at leading cultural and behavioural change within your healthcare settings to drive service transformation (e.g. large-scale prescribing initiatives or digital implementation)

£30,000 - £50,000 a year
The UK base salary range for this role, based on a full-time equivalent (FTE), is £30,000 - £50,000. This role is part-time (2 days per week), and the final salary will be pro-rated based on agreed working hours. Please note that the compensation details listed in UK role postings reflect the base salary only, and do not include bonus, equity, or benefits. Additional compensation may include benefits, variable pay, discretionary bonuses, and equity.
