Business Analyst Team Leader

  • Join our IT function as a Business Analyst Team Leader, a key role focused on driving innovation, leading a skilled team of Business Systems Analysts, and ensuring the successful delivery of projects and system improvements across the University.

    You will play a pivotal role in identifying business improvements enabled by technology, supporting effective project delivery, and influencing change across the organisation. This is a remote role and fixed term to cover maternity leave within the team.

    As our Business Analyst Team Leader, you will:

    • Lead, coach and develop a team of Business Systems Analysts

    • Plan workloads, monitor performance and support recruitment/induction

    • Build strong relationships across the business to identify improvements

    • Support IT demand requests, change analysis and project delivery

    •  Gather requirements, map processes and produce clear specifications

    • Contribute to solution design and support UAT activities

    Is this you?

    • Experience in a Senior Business Analyst role

    • Strong background in requirements gathering, process mapping and documentation

    • Experience mentoring, leading or developing others

    • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills

    • Analytical, organised, and confident simplifying complex information

    • Experience in higher education or professional services would be desirable
