    About the role.

    We’re looking for an experienced, versatile Brand Narrative Manager to join our dynamic Brand Design team for a 12-month maternity cover. You’ll be the lead storyteller on our biggest initiatives, guiding projects from concept to delivery and collaborating with designers, marketing, sales, and other teams. Your mission: ensure the stories of our brands (Pion, Student Beans, BeansiD) resonate across every touchpoint, while also crafting compelling narratives for some of the world’s biggest brands.

    This is a unique opportunity for a creative wordsmith who thrives on variety and strategic thinking, using the power of language to shape high-impact campaigns and elevate great brands.

    Responsibilities include-

    • Branded Collaborations & Activations: Lead copy for exciting partnerships and activations, from concept to final assets, including large-scale tours and product collaborations across B2C, Sales, and Advertising channels.

    • Owned Campaigns: Own the narrative for key campaigns, guiding strategy and producing all required assets.

    • Branding Projects: Shape brand identities and messaging, from website copy and brand guidelines to tone of voice. Drive Pion’s B2B voice and evolve Student Beans to engage the next generation of Gen Alpha students.

    • B2B Communications: Create ad-hoc copy for sales packs, email campaigns, and web content.

    • Cross-Functional Support: Provide copywriting for internal comms, recruitment, and occasional legal documentation updates.

    • Project Leadership: Focus on high-impact projects while delegating smaller tasks to the wider team.

    Requirements

    A little bit about you.
    We’d really like to hear from you, if you have:

      • A proven track record of delivering exceptional copy across diverse marketing and branding materials (B2B and B2C).

      • Ability to be a strategic thinker, capable of translating complex briefs into clear, compelling, and effective messaging with consideration for business impact.

      • Possesses excellent collaboration skills and can work seamlessly with creative and commercial teams.

      • Thrives in a fast-paced environment and can manage multiple projects simultaneously.

      • Has a keen eye for detail and a strong understanding of brand tone of voice.

      • Understands and utilises AI to power workflow and creativity.

      • Experience in SEO with an understanding of keyword research and analytics.

      • Experience mentoring or managing and briefing junior writers.

      • Data literate - able to interpret campaign metrics/test results and adjust creative strategy accordingly.
