Supporting three UK-based businesses operating internationally, you'll manage the full spectrum of bookkeeping responsibilities, all from the comfort of your home - with just a few visits to the Derby office each month.
This role will suit someone who enjoys managing end-to-end financial processes, thrives in a multi-currency environment, and is confident working independently to tight deadlines.

Your responsibilities as a Part-Time Bookkeeper:
Take ownership of Sales, Purchase and Nominal ledgers across three limited companies
Manage foreign currency transactions (GBP, EUR, USD, JPY) using Sage 50 Professional's Foreign Trader module
Reconcile multi-currency bank accounts and monitor exchange rate movements
Prepare and submit quarterly VAT returns in line with MTD requirements
Track budgets and assist in preparing annual and quarterly forecasts
Liaise with external accountants and the Group Controller, sharing monthly trial balances, year-end data and audit information
Maintain accurate financial tracking on project revenue and costs
Administer funds held on behalf of customers, ensuring compliant reconciliation
Submit payroll data to the outsourced provider on a monthly basis
Monitor finance inboxes and support the Director with ad-hoc administrative tasks
What you'll need to bring:
Strong, demonstrable experience as a Part-Time Bookkeeper working remotely
Expert-level knowledge of Sage 50 Professional (including Foreign Trader module)
High level of confidence working with multi-currency accounts and foreign bank reconciliations
A solid understanding of VAT returns and reporting requirements
Comfort working independently with limited supervision
Meticulous attention to detail, especially with project-based finance
Strong communication skills and confidence liaising with internal and external stakeholders
The working setup:
24 hours per week, with flexibility on how these are spread
