We are seeking a driven and commercially minded individual to lead the growth of Twinkl’s B2B marketing to school Senior Leadership Teams (SLT). This is a strategic role responsible for expanding opportunities within the senior leadership community across the UK, with a particular focus on building engagement with school and MAT leaders.
As Marketing Manager, your key responsibility will be increasing paid subscriptions and positioning Twinkl as the go-to resource for schools. You will be responsible for playing a pivotal role in driving marketing-qualified leads (MQLs) to support our B2B sales team and growing engagement with the SLT audience through campaigns that resonate and build trust with key decision makers in schools and trusts.
Reporting to the Head of B2B Marketing, you’ll work closely with the wider marketing, sales and product teams to align efforts and maximise impact. You will apply strategic insight and project management skills to execute successfully across digital, community and campaign channels.
You’ll be joining a collaborative B2B team that values experimentation, agility and learning.
Key Responsibilities:
B2B Marketing Strategy: design and execute impactful marketing campaigns aimed at senior leaders in schools at MATs. Use multi-channel campaigns (including content, events, social and emails) to drive high quality leads for the sales team
Audience growth: increase engagement within the SLT audience. Develop digital and community engagement strategies to attract and convert this audience.
B2C to B2B conversion: develop strategies and tactics to convert B2C subscribers in the SLT segment to Twinkl’s whole-school offer
Community building: continue to grow Twinkl’s network of headteachers, trust leaders, business leaders and senior educators through value-led engagement and thought leadership
Campaign management: lead multi-channel campaigns with tailored messaging to influence purchasing decisions and build long-term customer relationships
Insight and optimisation: analyse user behaviour and campaign performance to optimise performance across marketing activity
Collaboration: work closely with the Head of B2B Marketing, B2B sales and product teams to align strategy and share best practice
Qualifications and Skills:
Strong understanding of the education landscape, particularly the needs and drivers of school and trust leadership teams
Ideally with practical experience working in a leadership role in an educational setting
Experience in B2B marketing
A growth mindset and a passion for education and leadership
Ability to create compelling messaging and communications and deliver through various channels including webinars, social media, and written content
High levels of initiative - you’re comfortable taking ownership and driving change
Confidence working with data and analytics to guide decisions and measure performance
Strong project management skills and the ability to manage multiple projects and stakeholders
