Employer: Plantlife
Location: Flexible: home working (with good wifi) or option to work within a local workspace if required. We have office facilities available in Salisbury, Wiltshire and Retford, Notts. Regular travel will be required across the UK to meet Plantlife colleagues and to attend events.
Temporary: This is a 2 year fixed-term contract initially, with potential for extension or to become a permanent position.
Working hours: Full time
Salary: £37,467.25

About the role
This is an exciting new role within Plantlife which offers the right candidate the opportunity to make a material contribution to the delivery of high integrity nature restoration, at scale. We are seeking an Assurance Manager to help scale our work to ensure high standards and integrity in private nature restoration. This role will be responsible for the process of ecological due diligence and entry into legal agreements with landowners for long term restoration.

Do you have the energy, commitment and passion to help deliver Plantlife’s mission of a world rich in plants and fungi?
You will be a highly organised individual, confident in dealing with a range of people including ecology professionals, landowners and legal advisors. A background in ecology or another environmental discipline would be desirable, but we will consider applications from those with an assurance, legal or standards background with the right commitment and willingness to learn
