Location: Home based - There is a requirement for the successful candidate to attend monthly Action Hampshire & HIVCA team meetings as well as in-person events. As the role supports the Hampshire & Isle of Wight VCSE Alliance, there may be occasions when travel to the Isle of Wight is required.
Temporary: 18 months fixed term contract, with the possibility of extension
Working hours: 21 hours (3 days/FTE)
Salary: £45,000 (full-time equivalent)

Help shape the future of the VCSE sector across Hampshire and the Isle of Wight
The Hampshire & Isle of Wight VCSE Healthcare Alliance (HIVCA) unites voluntary, community and social enterprise (VCSE) organisations across Hampshire and the Isle of Wight. We need a director to lead the Alliance, represent the sector and strengthen its influence on health and care.
Key responsibilities
Set strategy and deliver priorities with the Leadership Committee.
Represent members and communities, influencing NHS, local authority, public health and wider partners.
Shape commissioning, prevention, health inequalities and neighbourhood working.
Lead engagement, the HIVCA team, governance, resources, risk, business planning and funding.
Who you are:
A senior leader with relevant VCSE, health and care, local government or related experience.
A skilled influencer who understands complex systems, health inequalities, Integrated Care Systems and community-based approaches.
An inclusive, collaborative relationship builder with experience in commissioning, service development, programme delivery or transformation.
