Location: Home‑based with occasional travel to Worcester office and other office locations if required.

Working hours: Full Time  

Salary: £30,920 - £34,355 per annum (depending on experience)

    We are looking for a proactive and motivated Administration Team Leader to lead our Planning Administration team, delivering a high-quality, efficient, and customer-focused service. 

    This is an exciting opportunity to play a key role in supporting operational performance, improving processes, and embedding a strong customer-centric culture. You will lead by example, ensuring your team consistently delivers excellent administrative support aligned with Platform's objectives and values.

    Key Responsibilities:

    • Lead, motivate and develop a team of Administrators, managing performance, wellbeing and conduct

    • Ensure delivery of a high-quality, customer-focused administrative service in line with procedures and KPIs

    • Monitor workloads, allocate resources and respond to service issues to maintain efficiency

    • Oversee compliance requirements, including LGSR certification and gas/electrical KPIs

    • Support key administrative processes including data management, reporting, job logging and stakeholder liaison

    • Build strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders and communicate effectively across the team

    • Drive continuous improvement by reviewing processes and identifying efficiencies

    Some things we are looking for:

    • NVQ in Business Administration or proven experience in a busy office-based administrative environment

    • Experience in a busy, customer-facing administrative role (ideally within building maintenance or construction)

    • Strong organisational and time management skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities

    • Supervisory or team leadership experience desirable

    • Clear, confident communication skills with the ability to handle challenging situations effectively

    • Customer-focused approach with the ability to build strong working relationships

    • Working knowledge of Microsoft Outlook, Word, and Excel, with desirable experience using DRS, Open Housing, and Total Mobile systems (or similar housing/maintenance IT systems)

    Working Arrangements:

    • Home‑based with occasional travel to Worcester office and other office locations if required.

    • 40 hours per week, Monday to Friday

    • Free on‑site parking available
