    Purpose

    The IT Technical Writer will be a key role in supporting delivery of the Shaw Trust Data Programme.

    They will:

    • Implement Governance and planning frameworks to support the successful delivery of the Data Programme

    • Work closely with cross-functional stakeholders, including Technology Teams, Senior Leadership, Product Owners, and Operations to map and document data and data sources across the Trust.

    • Elicit and document the current data landscape across Shaw Trust, to include:

      • A comprehensive Data Inventory

      • Data flows and maps

      • Supporting Data Documentation

      • A comprehensive as-is Report Catalogue

      • Data Programme standard operating procedures and a Data Team Master Services Agreement

      • Links and dependencies with Application Portfolio Management, Information Security, Data Protection and Cyber Security

    • Be responsible to drive best practice design thinking and data design techniques, knowing the right approach to create high quality data assets to an exceptional standard to drive business outcomes.
