We are seeking an experienced Trusts and Foundations Fundraiser to join the Primary Science Teaching Trust in a part-time, home-based role. You will help establish a new high-value fundraising programme, securing support from charitable trusts and foundations to strengthen primary science teaching and reach more children across the UK.
About the Primary Science Teaching Trust (PSTT)
PSTT is a charity working to strengthen primary science education across the UK. We believe every child should be engaged and inspired by science from an early age. We help teachers build on children’s natural curiosity, enabling children to explore, understand and ask questions about the world around them.
Each year, our team of Primary Science Mentors works with over 5,000 teachers through training, in-school services and online lessons that model excellent science teaching. Our Priority Areas Initiative concentrates our most intensive support in parts of the UK where schools and teachers have less access to primary science expertise and professional development.
We also offer tried-and-tested resources that support science teaching, planning and assessment. Our Primary Science Teacher College brings together over 200 outstanding teachers who help shape and influence science teaching across the UK.
