  • Role Outline

We are recruiting for an experienced Transformation Lead to own and deliver two of the most commercially critical workstreams within our three-year modernisation strategy. These workstreams are focused on AI and Automation Enablement and Operational Efficiency Modernisation.

You will work with teams to redesign workflows, deploy automation, remove manual friction, and embed new operating models that deliver measurable operational productivity gains. You will operate as a senior individual contributor with authority to challenge, redesign and simplify processes across operational teams, working alongside named business champions and cross-functional technology squads.

Your success will be measured through demonstrable cost savings and efficiencies, specifically unlocking FTE capacity, automation coverage, and operational efficiency improvement over a sustained three-year optimisation horizon.

    What you'll be doing:

This role involves leading and delivering AI & Automation Enablement and Operational Efficiency Modernisation workstreams, translating strategic objectives into actionable transformation plans, and driving continuous optimisation over a three-year period. You will focus on process redesign, automation, and efficiency improvements to achieve cost savings and workforce capacity targets, while ensuring compliance with governance frameworks and company values.

    Key Responsibilities:

Workstream Ownership: Manage end-to-end delivery of workstreams, setting clear milestones and measurable outcomes to achieve operational efficiency and workforce reduction goals.

Process Redesign & Automation: Lead workflow mapping, process simplification, and automation initiatives, prioritising rapid value delivery and eliminating inefficiencies.

Commercial & Value Delivery: Monitor and deliver cost-saving and efficiency targets, ensuring financial discipline and tracking progress against baseline metrics.

Cross-Functional Leadership: Oversee and align a diverse team of professionals, collaborate with stakeholders, and manage vendor relationships to achieve delivery outcomes.

Change & Adoption: Drive adoption of new processes and workflows, overcoming resistance, embedding sustainable improvements, and equipping teams to maintain changes.

Governance & Risk Management: Ensure compliance with regulatory and governance frameworks, monitor risks and dependencies, and protect sensitive information.

    What we are looking for:

The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of delivering measurable operational transformation within complex and regulated environments, with demonstrable experience in achieving cost or workforce reductions through process redesign and automation.

They will possess a strong operational mindset and the ability to effectively embed change within frontline teams. Tech-literate, the candidate should have a working understanding of automation platforms, workflow orchestration, AI-enabled tools, and modern digital platforms.

Experience in leading cross-functional teams without formal line authority is essential, alongside strong commercial acumen to link operational activities to EBITDA impact. The candidate will also have a background in managing third-party vendors, holding them accountable for performance, and will be decisive, delivery-focused, and adept at driving progress in ambiguous environments..
