STEM Educator

Working hours: 21.5hours per week - Monday - all day - Tuesday, Wednesday & Thursday - 12:30-5pm

We are seeking a Part-Time Online STEM Educator to deliver live, online STEM sessions to children with a range of Special Educational Needs, including autism, ADHD, and learning differences. 21.5hours per week, initially - £35k pro-rata FTE.
Monday - all day
Tuesday, Wednesday & Thursday - 12:30-5pm
You will:
Deliver engaging, live online STEM lessons to SEN learners
Adapt content and teaching approaches to meet individual needs
Create a calm, supportive, and inclusive online learning environment
Use practical, visual, and interactive methods to support understanding
Communicate clearly and compassionately with learners and families
Provide brief feedback on learner engagement and progress
All sessions and lesson materials are provided, with flexibility to adapt activities to suit individual learners.
What You’ll Need
To become an Associate Educator with Gaia Learning, you’ll need:
Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
A current DBS check
Experience in online learning
Experience supporting children with special educational needs (SEND) – especially neurodivergent learners (ideal)
A reliable laptop and mobile phone
Be based in the UK
A learner-first mindset — ready to adapt, personalise, and empower
Confidence using technology, including our virtual classroom, our CRM system, and central communication tools
