The opportunity
We are seeking a commercially minded HR Business Partner to join our Global HRBP team at a pivotal stage in Envision Pharma Group's growth and transformation journey. HR plays a critical role in driving business performance, organizational effectiveness, leadership capability, and employee experience. This role partners with leaders across multiple international markets, helping translate business strategy into people solutions that enable growth, support organizational change, and build high-performing teams.
Reporting to the Director, Global HR Business Partnering, this role is the HR lead for a defined portfolio of countries, providing expert guidance on organizational design, employee relations, talent management, workforce planning, performance, and compliance. They will translate global people frameworks into locally compliant, commercially pragmatic solutions across the UK, Hungary, Serbia, Portugal, the Netherlands, and Colombia, while also supporting execution of the people agenda in Japan, Australia, and the United States.
As a trusted advisor to leaders, uses data, insight, and sound judgment to influence, manage risk, and deliver outcomes that supports both business success and employee engagement. As part of a highly collaborative global HR team, share expertise and coach colleagues on country-specific practices, helping to build capability and consistency across the HR team.
This is a unique opportunity to join a business that is embracing data, technology, and AI to modernize how we work, and to play a meaningful role in shaping the future of both the organization and its people strategy. For someone motivated by continuous learning, broad international exposure, and the opportunity to make a tangible impact, the role offers meaningful responsibility, ongoing development, and a clear pathway for career progression within a dynamic global organization.
How will you make an impact at Envision Pharma Group?
Role responsibilities
Designated Subject Matter Expert for HR business partnering across the UK, Hungary, Serbia, Portugal, the Netherlands and Colombia, the trusted authority on local nuance within a global framework.
Support execution of the people agenda in Japan and Australia — delivering agreed initiatives and day-to-day HRBP support, while the Director, Global HR Business Partnering leads strategic direction and decisions for those markets.
Partner directly with business leaders across assigned client groups to deliver and execute people priorities aligned to commercial goals, operating with a high degree of autonomy.
Own and resolve complex, multi-jurisdiction employee relations cases end-to-end, including cross-border matters that require coordination across several of the countries above, including coordinated communications.
Provide expert guidance on local employment law and practices for your markets, partnering with People Services and Legal to keep policies and processes compliant as regulations evolve.
Coach and mentor HR colleagues working within your markets, sharing local nuance and building capability across the HR team in local practices.
SME for in-country execution of organisation design, workforce planning and change initiatives across our European markets (UK, Hungary, Serbia, Portugal, Netherlands), executing under the direction of the Director, Global HR Business Partnering.
Use people data and insights to identify cross-country trends, risks and opportunities, bringing a proactive approach to workforce planning.
Deliver core people programmes, performance cycles, compensation processes, talent reviews, succession planning and engagement initiatives across global client groups.
Partner with HR Operations, Talent Acquisition, Total Rewards and Legal on mobility, onboarding and workforce deployment across your remit.
Champion Envision's values Excellence, People, and Growth and role-model the behaviours expected of a senior HRBP.
Represent the HRBP function on cross-functional projects, building credibility as a trusted advisor to leaders at multiple levels.
Do you have what we are looking for?
Skills & expertise
5–8 years of progressive HR experience required, including significant time in an HR Business Partner role with genuine multi-country exposure.
Direct, hands-on experience working across two or more of the following markets: Hungary, Serbia, Portugal, the Netherlands, Colombia (or closely comparable jurisdictions), with working knowledge of local employment law and market practice.
Prior exposure to APAC markets (e.g. Japan, Australia) is a plus, though deep local expertise there is not required, you will be executing under the direction rather than owning strategy for these business areas and markets.
Proven ability to operate as a subject matter expert, someone other HRBPs and leaders turn to for complex, ambiguous or high-risk people matters.
Experience in private-equity backed and fast-paced, matrixed organisations strongly preferred.
Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills, with the gravitas to build credibility with senior leaders across multiple cultures and geographies.
Track record of independently managing complex employee relations cases independently, including sensitive or cross-border matters.
Curious and capable with AI-enabled HR tools, using them to work smarter on data, documentation and communications, while knowing where judgement and discretion must stay human.
Confident coaching and mentoring more junior HRBPs or HR team members, and generous about sharing knowledge across the wider HRBP community.
Strong command of HR data and systems, used independently to generate insight and influence decisions.
Comfortable with ambiguity and change and energised by building stage appropriate structure across a diverse, multi-country footprint.
In addition to a competitive base salary, we offer an attractive total compensation benefits package designed to reward and support our people.
