Summary
The Senior Director of Operations will oversee and optimize Deel’s global operational strategy, ensuring efficient and scalable processes across teams to support the company's continued growth. This leadership role will drive the execution of key operational initiatives, working closely with cross-functional teams to enhance operational performance and align with Deel's business goals. You will lead a team focused on improving operational efficiencies, customer service, developing best practices, and managing key projects that impact Deel’s global operations.
Responsibilities:
Develop and execute Deel’s global operations strategy, ensuring alignment with the company’s growth and business objectives.
Lead and mentor a high-performing operations team, driving continuous improvement in operational efficiency, productivity, and quality.
Conduct quarterly performance reviews and talent assessments to continuously elevate organizational talent standards and drive sustained performance excellence.
Collaborate with senior leadership to establish operational KPIs and ensure alignment across all departments.
Influence and align cross-functional teams, driving operational change through strong relationships and strategic partnerships.
Oversee and optimize end-to-end processes for key business functions, including finance, customer success, HR, and sales operations.
Identify operational bottlenecks and inefficiencies, and implement solutions to streamline workflows and improve overall performance.
Manage large-scale operational projects, ensuring timely delivery, resource allocation, and cross-functional coordination.
Establish and maintain a data-driven approach to operations, using analytics and reporting to measure and improve operational effectiveness.
Demonstrate strong proficiency with AI technologies and their operational applications, leveraging AI tools to enhance decision-making and operational efficiency across the organization.
Ensure compliance with global regulatory standards and company policies, while mitigating operational risks.
Partner with technology and product teams to implement tools and systems that enhance operational performance and scalability.
Cultivate a culture of continuous improvement, driving innovation and promoting best practices across the organization.
Qualifications:
7+ years of experience in operations management, with at least 5 years in a senior leadership role.
Proven success in developing and executing operational strategies in fast high-growth, global organizations.
Strong experience managing and optimizing cross-functional operations across diverse business functions.
Expertise in identifying process inefficiencies and implementing data-driven solutions to enhance performance.
Strong leadership abilities with at least 5 years of people management experience, including team development and performance management.
Excellent project management skills with the ability to lead large, cross-functional projects from inception to completion.
Demonstrated ability to collaborate with senior leadership and cross-functional teams to achieve strategic goals.
High level of analytical skills with a track record of using data to drive decision-making and operational improvements.
Deep understanding of global regulatory requirements and operational compliance.
Strong communication, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.

Our salary range reflects gross base salary. For commercial roles with commission eligibility, this figure represents On-Target Earnings (OTE), inclusive of base salary and target commission.
Salary ranges are quoted in USD as a consistent global reference. Your offer will be localized to your country's currency using a market-aligned conversion.
Final pay is based on objective, job-related criteria including experience, skills, and location.
