The Delivery Manager (South) is responsible for making sure GFS groups across the South run effectively, safely and consistently while supporting the staff and volunteers who deliver them.
The role combines Operations, People Management, Safeguarding, and Programme Development, including:
Supporting and line managing Group Coordinators and volunteers, helping them deliver high-quality sessions and resolving any operational challenges.
Planning and overseeing trips, events and residentials, managing budgets, resources and participant registrations.
Using data and evaluation to measure programme impact and improve services, particularly around equality, diversity and inclusion.
Recruiting, onboarding and training Group Coordinators and volunteers, while helping grow GFS by launching new groups and recruiting more girls.
Acting as a Designated Safeguarding Officer, advising on safeguarding concerns, carrying out safeguarding checks, and delivering safeguarding training.
Representing GFS regionally, building relationships with communities, parents and partners, and travelling regularly to visit groups across the South.
