    About the Role: 

    The L&D team are excited to announce, that we are seeking to recruit an additional Safeguarding Trainer to design and deliver engaging and effective safeguarding learning interventions across the organisation. 
     
    As a Safeguarding Trainer, you’ll play a crucial role in shaping how we embed safeguarding knowledge and culture across our organisation. You’ll be responsible for designing and delivering engaging, accessible training for staff at all levels — ensuring it reflects the latest in safeguarding legislation, trends, and best practice. We are particularly interested in speaking and hearing from individuals with experience in delivering mental capacity act training
     
    You'll work closely with the Safeguarding Training and  Safeguarding Development Manager to evolve and refine our training content, and act as a key point of contact for training-related queries. 
     
    This role is perfect for someone who is confident facilitating learning, thrives in collaborative environments, and is passionate about keeping people safe. A background in safeguarding is preferred. 

      

    Please note, the ability to train and facilitate groups both online and face to face is an essential requirement for this role.
     
    As a Safeguarding Trainer, you will be responsible for: 

    • Designing safeguarding learning and development interventions, in line with a trauma-informed approach. 

    • Producing standardised training materials and documentation to support training programmes. 

    • Facilitating virtual workshops that support the organisation in meeting our safeguarding mandatory training requirements. 

    • Face-to-face workshops as and when required. 

    • To work closely with the Safeguarding Training and Development Manager to ensure that workshops are updated regularly, to include recent learning from safeguarding concerns and to ensure that guidance provided in workshops is up-to-date and aligns with organisational expectations. 

    • Evaluating workshops including resources to improve the quality and content of the training in line with feedback. 

    • Ensuring training is delivered safely and effectively, providing feedback when required and communicating any concerns that may arise during training to the appropriate person/s.
