  • Publications Coordinator

Help shape high-quality publications for the global life sciences industry

Established in 2009, BioPhorum is a global collaboration platform bringing together over 150 life science organisations — including 18 of the world’s top 20 biopharmaceutical companies — to drive innovation and progress across the industry.

As part of our continued growth, we are looking for a highly organised and detail-oriented Publications Coordinator to join our team.

    The Role

The Publications Coordinator will play a key role in managing BioPhorum’s publications process from manuscript development through to final publication.

This is an exciting opportunity for someone who enjoys combining strong editing and proofreading skills with project coordination and stakeholder management. You’ll work closely with internal teams and external suppliers to ensure publications are delivered on time, to a consistently high standard, and aligned with BioPhorum’s brand and governance requirements.

    What you’ll be doing

    You’ll be responsible for:

    • Managing the end-to-end publications process

    • Coordinating publication schedules and tracking deadlines

    • Copy-editing, proofreading, and improving technical content for clarity and impact

    • Supporting peer review and external journal submission processes

    • Managing external suppliers including designers, proofreaders, and agencies

    • Coordinating stakeholder feedback and revisions

    • Maintaining publication records, repositories, and governance documentation

    • Supporting the development of templates, style guides, and publication processes

    • Monitoring publication budgets and reporting progress updates

    About You

We’re looking for someone who is:

    • Highly organised with exceptional attention to detail

    • A strong writer and editor, able to simplify and improve complex content

    • Comfortable managing multiple projects and competing priorities

    • Confident working with internal stakeholders and external suppliers

    • Proactive, collaborative, and solutions-focused

    • Experienced working with digital tools and content management systems

    You’ll ideally have experience in:

    • Publications coordination, editing, copywriting, or content management

    • Managing review and approval processes

    • Working within professional, scientific, technical, or B2B environments

    • Experience within life sciences, healthcare, or regulated industries would be advantageous but is not essential.

    Why Join BioPhorum?

This is an opportunity to join a fast-growing organisation at the centre of global life sciences collaboration. You’ll work on meaningful industry publications, contribute to high-profile outputs, and play an important role in maintaining the quality and reputation of BioPhorum’s content.
