Are you looking for a role within an organisation where the work you do makes a real difference to people's lives? Are you looking to develop your fundraising experience with a sector-leading team? If the answer is yes then our Prospect Development Officer role could be for you.
Every childhood is worth fighting for. This is our belief. We all share it. And it drives our Fundraising team to get out there and bring in the funds we need to protect children and prevent abuse. Join us as a Prospect Development Officer, and get more people involved in change that means everything.
The role sits within the Prospect Development Team in our Philanthropy and Partnerships department. We are a small, supportive and fun bunch who provide expert prospect management, identification and research services to the NSPCC's fundraising departments.
The team also has a role to play in sharing insight and knowledge on the latest trends in philanthropy and corporate giving with the rest of the directorate, and in ensuring that our fundraising and research practices are compliant with sectoral regulations.
You'll be joining a team that is passionate about providing a friendly, user centred and evidence driven service to the organisation, and that champions a supportive culture of authenticity.
The role - what will you be doing?
You will contribute to the Income Generation directorate's purpose of maximising income from supporters by carrying out prospect research and prospect identification activities that contribute to fundraising activity.
You will deliver prospect research profiles, identify new fundraising opportunities and conduct activities which offer actionable insight.
You will work effectively and proactively with other departments in fundraising, in particular Philanthropy and Partnerships, and other functions within the NSPCC, to ensure prospect research activities serve their insight requirements.
Further information can be found in the job description, where you will find a more detailed person specification and role responsibilities. If you'd like to discuss the role, please give Jude Noble a call on +442039617254
Interviews for the position will be held on 16th / 17th July.
This is a real opportunity to make a difference to children's lives, but we also like to reward people by offering a great working environment, being part of a friendly and supportive team, and offering stimulating and challenging work, with plenty of development opportunities. We offer a variety of rewards and benefits including generous annual leave, employee benefits and assistance programme, pension and life assurance schemes.
Join us at this exciting time and you'll become part of a team that cares about the work they do and the people they work with. You'll discover opportunities to grow, along with challenges and a shared purpose that'll bring the best out in you. And you'll get to find your own way to make a difference that means more, and that impacts millions of young lives. We want to ensure roles are accessible and inclusive of everyone, which is why the NSPCC offers a high degree of flexibility around ways of working.
