The Philanthropy team plays a vital role in generating high-value income to support the National Autistic Society’s mission. Working across trusts, foundations, statutory funders and major donors, the team develops strong relationships and delivers impactful funding partnerships that enable our services and strategic priorities.About the Role
The Philanthropy Officer is a new role that will be responsible for providing support to the wider Philanthropy Team whilst managing a small portfolio of mid-level donors and our Small Trust Mailing, each with a five-figure income target attached to them.What You’ll Do
Take full ownership of our mid-level (£1,000 to £5,000) giving programme, the Circle of Friends.
Deliver a bi-annual small trust mailing through conducting research into small trusts, drafting the proposal and sending it.
Support the Senior Philanthropy and Special Events Manager on the portfolio of special/high-value events throughout the year
What We’re Looking For
Experience of working with Raiser’s Edge (or similar CRM database)
An understanding of high-value fundraising
Excellent written and verbal communication skills

Possession of an Enhanced DBS Check either on the Update Service or conducted within the last 12 months would be preferable but not essential if its applicable to your role.
