Responsibilities of our Philanthropy Officer:
This role will support the Philanthropy and Partnerships Team in the stewardship of mid value trust and individual donors and prospects, taking the lead on the stewardship of local Trust grants and unsolicited donors.
The successful candidate will also lead on the delivery of the Cats Protection annual Small Trust Mailing and support the team with retaining and generating sustainable net income for Cats Protection from Trusts, Grantmakers and Major Donor.

What we’re looking for in our Philanthropy Officer:
Strong relationship management background
Some experience of high value fundraising or client account management
Some experience of using persuasive verbal and written communication to engage clients, donors or stakeholders
Experience of developing strong relationships with supporters or clients
Ability to present written and financial information in a clear and compelling way
