Location: Remote (UK-Based)
Working hours: Freelance - Lessons may take place between 13:00 to 18:00, Monday to Thursday. You will not be required during all these times. You will invoice us on a per lesson basis.
Salary: £30 per hour (includes delivery, lesson preparation, and reporting time)

About the Role:
Are you an enthusiastic, qualified teacher with a passion for bringing STEM to life? Gaia Learning is looking for a dedicated online STEM Educator to join our amazing team for the new academic year. In this freelance role, you will deliver engaging, high-quality lessons to our neurodivergent learners and those with special educational needs, helping them thrive in a flexible, calm, and supportive online environment.
Key Requirements & Responsibilities:Lesson Delivery and Admin: You will deliver focused online sessions. Your £30/hr rate fully covers session delivery along with all required lesson preparation, resource creation, and learner progress reporting.
Qualified Teacher Status (QTS): A recognized UK teaching qualification is essential.
Subject Specialist: Strong expertise in teaching Maths and Science IGCSEs.
UK-Based: This is a fully remote position, but you must be living and working in the UK.
Vetting and Safer Recruitment: To keep our community safe, you must hold (or be willing to undergo) an Enhanced DBS Check with Children's Barred List information, alongside a Teacher Prohibition check.
