Location: Hybrid Remote (Godalming) / Fully Remote Depending on Location  

Temporary: 12 Month Fixed Term Contract (Maternity Cover) 

Working hours: Monday – Friday (37.5 hours) 

Salary: £38,500 base salary – Plus bonus OTE £3,000

  • Money Expert is an independent comparison business, and we are looking for a Marketing Manager to join our team on a 12-month maternity cover contract. This is a varied and fast-paced role, ideal for someone who thrives in a performance-driven environment and enjoys working across multiple channels and stakeholders.

    Reporting into the Head of Marketing, you will be responsible for leading the development and delivery of integrated marketing strategies across key online products. Working within a small, collaborative team, you will play a key role in driving customer acquisition, improving conversion, and delivering against commercial KPIs and revenue targets.

    The duties of a Marketing Manager are:

    • Own and deliver the email marketing strategy using the Actito platform, driving engagement, conversion, and revenue growth

    • Work with agencies to implement testing frameworks, optimise customer journeys, and improve performance through data-led insights

    • Lead digital PR strategy in line with SEO objectives, ensuring campaigns support brand positioning, search visibility, and product priorities

    • Oversee optimisation and development of product journeys and landing pages to improve customer experience and conversion rates

    • Identify opportunities for improvement using performance data and customer insights

    • Lead onboarding and growth of key partners, ensuring successful integrations and strong performance

    • Work closely with SEO and PPC agencies to ensure activity aligns with wider marketing objectives and contributes to acquisition targets

    • Manage and develop the Marketing Assistant, setting clear objectives and supporting delivery

    • Deliver performance reporting, providing insight-led recommendations to stakeholders and informing future strategy

    To be considered for this role as Marketing Manager, the successful candidate will have:

    • Proven experience managing email marketing campaigns, including planning, execution, optimisation, and reporting

    • Experience across PR, SEO, PPC and working with digital marketing agencies

    • Strong analytical skills with experience using platforms such as GA4 and Facebook Analytics

    • Experience managing external partners and stakeholders

    • Understanding of branding and design principles across digital channels

    • Minimum of 3 years’ experience in a B2C marketing role

    • Strong commercial awareness and ability to work to KPIs and revenue targets

    • Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment

    • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills

    • Strong organisational skills with a proactive, problem-solving mindset

    • Willingness to travel occasionally (once or twice per month) to meetings in Chester and Godalming
