    We are looking for a Marketing Assistant to support our marketing and communications efforts. Whilst the role will focus on email marketing, events, internal communications, and research and admin support, there will also be a lot of scope to contribute to other creative briefs.

    The ideal candidate will have a good understanding of the full marketing mix, a proven track record of executing email marketing, events programmes and research tasks and be driven and self-motivated.

    About the role 

    Email Marketing

    • Design and code the B2B and B2C email newsletters (HTML)

    • Add and check the segmented audiences

    • Report on the success of all emails from engagement metrics to revenue generated

    • Keep up to date with best practices and suggest improvements

    Event Coordination 

    • Find the best trade shows to attend and organise everything needed for our stand

    • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless execution of events, including coordinating logistics and overseeing post-event evaluations 

    • Negotiate the best rates on trade stands

    • Monitor and analyse event performance to optimise future event attendance

    • Lead on all internal events, from arranging team get-togethers, logistics for team training days, Christmas parties and the company away days

    • Organise B2B webinars with partner businesses

    General Marketing Support 

    • Own and draft internal communications for our team newsletter

    • Report on the success of marketing campaigns

    • Find the best deals on marketing materials and facilitate orders

    • Conduct market research to identify trends, competitor strategies, and opportunities for innovation

    • Draft copy for social media and schedule daily posts on Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, Twitter & Bluesky

    • Social media community management

    About you 

    • You will have experience of working in Marketing, ideally in a startup/scale-up, where you understand the pace of delivery and working with sometimes ambiguous requirements. If you have worked for an online-first, digital or e-commerce business, even better 

    • HTML coding skills are essential to create our email marketing campaigns

    • Previous event coordination/management experience

    • Comfortable compiling and analysing data from various sources

    • Flawless copywriting skills

    • Personable with a good telephone manner and good negotiation skills

    • Strong organisational and time-management abilities

    • Self-starter with the ability to work independently on projects

    • Show a willingness to learn and adapt to new platforms and technologies

    • If you speak another European language, that would be a plus

    • Experience using Salesforce, Slack, Google Analytics, Figma and Photoshop is a bonus

    • Educated to degree level or equivalent

    Salary: £35-38k, depending on experience
