Working hours: 37.5 Hours per week

Salary: £33,000 - £35,000 per annum

    We are looking for a Lived Experience and Involvement Officer to join our growing team. This is a newly created role and an exciting opportunity to help shape how lived experience is embedded across Dementia UK.

    Working closely with the Lived Experience and Involvement Manager, you will help grow and support our Lived Experience Advisory Network, building strong relationships with people affected by dementia and ensuring their voices help shape our work.

    You will coordinate involvement activities, support engagement and communications, and help evaluate the impact of lived experience across the charity. You will also play a key role in developing new resources, processes and ways of working as we continue to strengthen our approach to involvement.

    We are looking for someone with excellent communication and organisational skills who enjoys working with people and building relationships. You will bring experience of involvement, engagement or participation work, alongside the confidence to use your initiative, develop new ideas and help establish effective ways of working. Personal experience of lived experience involvement, whether through work, volunteering or personal experience, would be particularly valuable.
