Your Role:
In this role you will offer guidance and support to enable neurodivergent/disabled learners to achieve their aspirations and goals. You will deliver effective teaching, learning and support to learners for qualifications and their individual needs.
Key Responsibilities:
Deliver engaging, creative interventions that meet individual learner needs and targets
Motivate and support learners to achieve their goals through outstanding, ongoing guidance
Create and implement tailored learner support plans, evidencing progression on a monthly basis
Provide continuous Information, Advice & Guidance and pastoral support to aid engagement and achievement
Deliver and facilitate teaching, learning and support that promotes accelerated and autonomous learning
Develop learning resources to effectively support the learning process
Complete detailed documentation to evidence Learning Support Funding requirements
Work collaboratively with delivery colleagues, providing timely and accurate learner updates
Monitor learner welfare, health and safety, promoting knowledge of Safeguarding, British Values, Prevent, and Equality & Diversity
Your Experience:
Experience of and a proven track record of working with SEND learners
Proven track record of consistently exceeding targets
Knowledge and/or experience in Safeguarding
Understanding of the SEND Code of Practice
Teaching qualification preferred
Educated at degree level or equivalent experience
