    Pertemps are currently recruiting for an experienced SEND EHCP Officer to join Lancashire’s SEND Team on a fully remote basis.
    As a key member of the team, you will play a vital role in supporting children and young people with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND), managing the end-to-end EHCP process across allocated educational settings.

    Key Responsibilities:

    • Manage the full Education, Health and Care Plan (EHCP) process

    • Coordinate assessments, plan writing, annual reviews, reassessments, and consultations

    • Work closely with schools, families, and multi-agency professionals

    • Ensure statutory deadlines and compliance requirements are met

    • Maintain accurate case records and provide clear communication throughout the process

    • Support positive outcomes for children and young people with SEND

    Requirements:

    • Experience working within SEND is essential

    • Previous EHCP process or plan writing experience desirable

    • Experience working with children, young people, families, and the public

    • Experience working collaboratively with partners in a multi-agency setting

    • Strong organisational and communication skills

    • Ability to manage a busy caseload independently
