Involvement Coordinator

Location: This is a primarily remote role, home-based within the United Kingdom. There is a minimum of four days per annum required at the CLAPA Office in London (E2 9DA) for all-staff meetings and E&S Away days. It is anticipated that there will be additional travel of around 10 days relating to service delivery activity, attendance at conferences and external meetings (travel expenses paid).

Working hours: Part-time (21 hours per week) 

Salary: £34,750 FTE (per annum, pro rata)

    Home-based within the United Kingdom. This is a primarily remote role, home-based within the United Kingdom. There is a minimum of four days per annum required at the CLAPA Office in London (E2 9DA) for all-staff meetings and E&S Away days. It is anticipated that there will be additional travel of around 10 days relating to service delivery activity, attendance at conferences and external meetings (travel expenses paid).

    Role Description

    We’re looking for an Involvement Coordinator to join CLAPA. This role will support the development of our involvement service. You’ll work closely with our Engagement & Services Team as well as externally with cleft team professionals and researchers to help us achieve our mission.

    The Involvement Coordinator is responsible for increasing, diversifying and strengthening community involvement across CLAPA. Working closely with colleagues, they will ensure that the cleft community is at the heart of everything we do, championing engagement, inclusion and co-production across all activities. They will create and enable a spectrum of meaningful involvement opportunities that support CLAPA’s work, amplify the voice of the cleft community, shape the future of our services and enable change. They will demonstrate the impact of involvement and enable us to continuously improve.
