In house Solicitor - Commercial Law

    You’ll partner closely with the Head of Legal across commercial contracts, property transactions and strategic projects. We operate in a dynamic, accountable environment where the variety and pace of work keep things engaging and energising. We report directly to the Board and senior stakeholders, but our work spans and supports all parts of the Lifeways Group across the UK.

    About you

    • Qualified Solicitor (England & Wales) — or qualified in a closely aligned common‑law jurisdiction with demonstrable legal experience in England & Wales or Scotland.

    • Experience in commercial property (or residential property or housing law) and/orcommercial contracts, with appetite to grow across both.

    • Strong drafting and negotiation skills.

    • Curious, adaptive and accountable, comfortable operating at pace and managing a varied, dynamic workload.

    • You blend sound commercial judgement and plain‑English advice with a care‑first ethos.

    • You’re confident partnering with senior stakeholders while working to high professional standards.
