  • We're looking for a Head of Marketing and Communications to lead CILEX’s Marketing function, driving results and creating a real impact within the organisation. In this pivotal role, you'll lead a modern, insight-driven marketing function that builds reputation, drives growth, and deepens engagement. 

    Reporting to the Commercial Director, you'll set the strategy, plan and budget - while building a high-performing team and strong relationship across the business. You will lead on a new brand strategy, developing and strengthening our brand within the legal profession. And with an exciting new company website on the horizon, experience in delivering corporate web projects will be a real advantage. Our key activities and meetings take place across London, Milton Keynes and Birmingham, so you'll need to be comfortable travelling to these hubs as needed.

    What We're Looking For:

    Essential:

    • Senior marketing leadership experience within B2B and B2C environments.

    • Proven ability to lead and manage teams, driving performance, accountability and development.

    • Excellent corporate communication skills, with the ability to influence and engage a diverse audience.

    • Experienced in stakeholder management, including building strong relationships with senior leaders and Board members.

    • Demonstrable success in using data, insight, and systems to inform strategy, measure performance and support commercial outcomes.

    • Experience of lead generation and revenue-focused marketing, working closely with sales or commercial teams.

    • Strong event management and delivery experience.

    • Strong brand strategy and brand management expertise.

    • Excellent written, verbal and presentation skills, with the confidence to act as a senior ambassador for the organisation.

    • Sound commercial judgement, including budget ownership and supplier/contract negotiation.

    • Familiarity with CRM platforms, marketing automation and digital analytics tools.
