    Role Outline:

This role requires a delivery-focused professional with proven experience in PE/VC-backed technology transformation programmes, who can orchestrate complex multi-vendor initiatives whilst maintaining exceptional stakeholder engagement with both technical teams and financial sponsors. The successful candidate will balance strategic planning with tactical execution, removing friction points to enable high-velocity delivery within a regulated healthcare environment.

    What you'll be doing:

Overseing a 3-year platform modernisation programme, incorporating AI-enabled orchestration, platform evolution, and digital service transformation. You will lead a 30-person engineering team, alongside external vendors and offshore resources, to deliver a prioritised roadmap of milestones within the first six months. Working with IT senior leadership, you will define and deploy optimal delivery methodologies, such as Agile or SAFe, tailored to the programme's needs.

You will maintain strong engagement with stakeholders, providing regular progress updates, risk assessments, and evidence-based ROI reporting. This role requires aligning transformation objectives across business units, resolving resource constraints, and managing budgets to balance pace of change with operational stability. Additionally, you will contribute to technical decisions, manage vendor relationships, and ensure compliance within a regulated healthcare environment.

Your responsibilities will also include enabling high delivery velocity by removing blockers, coordinating cross-functional dependencies, and driving continuous improvement in delivery processes and team effectiveness.

    What we are looking for:

We are seeking an experienced professional with a proven track record in delivering operational transformation within complex, regulated environments. You will have expertise in achieving cost or FTE reductions through process redesign and automation, with a strong operational mindset and the ability to embed sustainable change within frontline teams. A tech-literate approach is essential, including experience with automation platforms, AI-enabled tools, and workflow orchestration. You should also have strong commercial acumen, leadership experience in cross-functional teams, and a proven ability to manage third-party vendors effectively.
