Salary: £31,000 (actual salary for 0.8 FTE - £24,800)

We are looking to recruit a Graduate Employability Officer to join our Employability Service Department either on a hybrid basis (working from one of our UK campuses and remotely) or completely remotely.
Please note that this is a part-time, permanent position (0.8). You will be working 28 hours a week.
This is a fantastic opportunity to enter a well-established and respected department. As our Graduate Employability Officer, you will be developing communication and engagement plans with recent alumni and final-year students, particularly around the Graduate Outcomes Survey.
You will play a key role in supporting the university’s HESA data submissions and monitoring Graduate Outcome Survey completion rates. In addition to this, you’ll have the opportunity to work across the department in designing and contributing to graduate-focused resources to enhance career progression and workplace skills.
As our Graduate Employability Officer, you will:
Manage ongoing communication with recent alumni, develop and oversee projects to enhance awareness and participation in the Graduate Outcomes Survey (GOS)
Assist with the development of the Employability Portal to improve support and engagement of recent graduates
Identify opportunities to engage with final year students prior to completion raising the profile of the GOS and ongoing support
Act as a point of contact for graduate students seeking support, signpost effectively to online resources or in person support, as well as other stakeholders, in particular recruiters and employers looking to engage with our students and Alumni via our advertising services
We are looking for people who are/have:
Experience of working with Students and working with Employers, in a higher education institution.
The ability to collate and create resources relevant to graduates and enhancing their graduate outcomes
Excellent organisational skills and in ability to plan and oversee the implementation of projects
Ability to maintain and input accurate data and implement systems to track and report insights into graduate activity
An understanding of the role of HESA and the Office for Students in relation to graduate destinations
Excellent attention to detail
