We’re pleased to announce an exciting opportunity for a Global Head of Retail to join the parkrun team, this role can be accommodated by home working however you will be required to attend meetings as and when required.

The Global Head of Retail position is a permanent role, on a full time basis (37.5 hours per week), with an annual salary of £75,000 – £80,000.

The role
We are seeking a Global Head of Retail to be a valued member of parkrun’s Fundraising and Commercial Team.
The Global Head of Retail leads and optimises income generation across all current and emerging parkrun countries and regions, shaping a global retail strategy that aligns with the organisation’s commercial and fundraising objectives. The role oversees retail performance, stock liability and retail assets, builds strong supplier relationships, and brings together key departments and regional retail teams to drive growth, consistency and long‑term success. Operating within the Global Delegation of Authority Framework, this role ensures retail activity is cohesive, scalable and impactful across the parkrun community.
We’re seeking someone who can lead a coherent, values‑driven global retail function. Shaping strategy with APAC and SA teams, strengthening performance across all retail platforms, and ensuring activity is continually refined to support parkrun’s charitable purpose.
This role will guide forecasting, reporting and digital platform development, oversee new product opportunities, manage supplier relationships and stock control, and use insight and market trends to inform growth. Above all, they will foster collaboration across territories and uphold parkrun’s ethical and sustainability commitments to ensure retail activity is consistent, responsible and impactful.
