Ready to make cloud costs work harder? Join the Evri Team.
At Evri, technology is critical to how we deliver across the UK. With a significant investment in cloud services, we’re looking for a FinOps Analyst to take ownership of cost control, optimisation and visibility across our AWS estate. This is a fully remote role, offering the opportunity to influence decision‑making at scale and embed strong financial discipline across technology teams.
What you’ll be doing
As a FinOps Analyst, you’ll work remotely but closely with Finance, Technology and Delivery teams across the business. You’ll manage cost visibility and optimisation for a $7m+ AWS environment, ensuring spend is intentional, well‑forecast and delivering value. Partnering with project and engineering squads, you’ll cost new products and enhancements, track delivery spend against forecasts, and clearly communicate financial impact and ROI. This role is proactive by nature, encouraging early engagement, continuous improvement and a strong cost‑aware culture.
Responsibilities
Own cost management and optimisation across a $7m+ AWS estate, identifying efficiencies and reducing waste
Partner with project and engineering teams to cost new initiatives and product improvements, factoring spend into ROI
Track build and delivery costs throughout the lifecycle, ensuring spend aligns with agreed forecasts
Produce clear, monthly cost reporting by dissecting detailed AWS usage and allocating OPEX by team
Promote cost visibility and accountability across engineering squads, embedding a cost‑aware culture
Interested? Here’s what you’ll need to be successful
Strong, hands‑on experience with AWS services, pricing models and cost optimisation (mandatory)
Proven experience in FinOps, cloud financial management or a DevOps role with cost accountability
Excellent analytical skills with the ability to translate complex cost data into clear insight
A proactive, self‑starter approach with the confidence to engage and challenge stakeholders remotely
Experience working closely with project and engineering teams to manage budgets, forecasting and ROI
