Salary: £47,077 to £58,217

Working hours: 22.5 hours per week

    Purpose

    Shaw Trust is a leading UK charity, being a key provider of employability services for DWP, justice services through HMPPS, education services with the DfE, fostering and child support services for OFSTED and CQC, and much more.

    This role is part of the development of a Group Finance team and will involve supporting the financial reporting requirements across a wide group structure.  

    We need someone who is comfortable working remotely while developing excellent working relations with colleagues across a large (c.£200m) turnover, multi-location organisation

    Essential:

    You will have:

    • recent CCAB qualification or equivalent

    • relevant experience of preparing annual financial statements including group consolidation

    • experience of improving systems and processes

    • the ability to communicate complex financial information in a straightforward way

    • experience of liaising with external advisors, in particular external auditors
