  Finance Manager - Permanent

  Location: London (Fully Remote for now - eventual London office presence)

  Salary: £60,000-£70,000 DOE + bonus + benefits

  Reporting directly into senior leadership, the Finance Manager will take ownership of the end-to-end finance function while managing one direct report. The role offers broad exposure across finance, operations and commercial partnering, with the opportunity to help shape processes, improve reporting visibility and support strategic growth initiatives.

  Key Responsibilities:

  • Ownership of the full finance function including month-end, management accounts, budgeting, forecasting and cash flow

  • Lead reporting, financial analysis and performance insight for senior leadership

  • Partner with commercial and operational stakeholders to support decision-making and business growth

  • Manage working capital, inventory accounting and supply chain-related financial processes

  • Oversee AP/AR, reconciliations, controls and external accountant relationships

  • Improve finance processes, reporting automation and operational visibility

  • Support pricing, margin analysis and broader commercial initiatives

  • Manage and develop one junior finance team member

  • Play a key role in helping scale the finance infrastructure as the business grows

  Candidate Profile:

  • Qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA or CIMA)

  • Previous experience within an SME environment with ownership of a broad, hands-on finance role

  • Product-based industry background essential, ideally retail, consumer goods, FMCG, e-commerce or related sectors

  • Strong understanding of inventory, stock management, supply chain and working capital dynamics

  • Comfortable operating in lean environments without large support structures

  • Commercially minded with the ability to balance detail with wider business priorities

  • Strong Excel and finance systems capability

  • Proactive, adaptable and motivated by helping scale a growing business
