Location: London/Hybrid working. For staff based in London, there are 2 core days per week at our London Office. For staff outside of London, there is more flexibility (with all staff expected to travel to the office at least once per month).
Working hours: Full-time (37.5 hours per week – Monday to Friday). We can discuss flexible working patterns, e.g., school hours, as needed.
Salary: London salary £32,000 per annum, (including £2k London weighting)

About the role
In this varied and fast-paced role, you’ll be the go-to person for financial, HR and IT queries, supporting teams across the organisation. You’ll gain valuable experience in charity operations, develop your skills, and help drive improvements in how we work.
You’ll report to the Operations and Systems Manager and work closely with colleagues from across the charity. No two days will be the same – one day you might be preparing payroll, the next coordinating recruitment or supporting staff with IT queries.
Key Responsibilities:
Finance: Handle day-to-day bookkeeping (Xero), raise and track invoices, manage payroll submissions, support management accounts and assist with financial reporting.
HR & Recruitment: Maintain our policy library and staff handbook, coordinate recruitment processes, onboarding, training, and staff benefits (EAP, pensions, Access to Work, etc).
IT & Equipment: Support IT logistics, liaise with our external IT provider, track support hours, and manage equipment and office supplies.
Office & Admin: Manage office facilities (we share space with another education charity), respond to shared mailboxes, and provide general admin support.This is an excellent opportunity to develop a broad set of operations and finance skills in a mission-driven, supportive environment.

Desirable Experience
Familiarity with the Further Education (FE) sector
Previous experience using Xero (or similar finance software)
Previous experience using Salesforce (or similar CRM system)
