The Finance & Operational Manager is a new role, so is likely to evolve iteratively depending on the successful applicant’s strengths and as they get to know MTN’s existing operational systems and adapt them. We anticipate the balance of the role will roughly divide into thirds: one third financial management (primarily processing transactions in Quickbooks and preparing quarterly management accounts in collaboration with the ED), one third maintaining operational processes (working with the ED on HR and IT processes, applications & reports to funders and stakeholders) and one third collaborating on the delivery of our development initiatives such as BEAM and member events.
