We’re looking for a confident and people‑focused Employee Relations Advisor to join us for a 4‑month fixed‑term contract. You’ll be part of a knowledgeable, friendly team who work together to deliver exceptional guidance to managers and employees across the UK and ROI.

Employee Relations Advisor - 6m FTC
Job Description:
What you’ll be doing:
Providing clear, consistent advice on a wide range of ER matters
Supporting with absence management, welfare concerns and OH referrals
Advising on performance, disciplinary, grievance and AWOL cases
Guiding managers through appeals and flexible working requests
Helping drive proactive absence management and smooth returns to work
Promoting key risk assessments (maternity, stress, DSE and more)
Supporting conversations around mental health and workplace wellbeing
Keeping cases up‑to‑date in our ER case management system
Acting as a first point of escalation for ER Assistants
Essential Skills:
Previous experience in an ER advisory role
Good understanding of employment legislation and ER processes
Excellent written and verbal communication
Desirable Skills:
CIPD qualification (or working towards it)
Experience in a shared service or high‑volume ER environment
Experience with case management systems
What you’ll also need:
Strong organisational skills and the ability to work at pace
High attention to detail
A collaborative team player
Comfortable working remotely with reliable WiFi
