  • The role The rundown: We know disadvantaged schools are facing greater challenges than ever. We also know that working in a school can be isolating, highly pressured, and competitive. But when teachers have a supportive community around them, their work can be even more fulfilling and inspiring. That’s why we support networks — to help those in and outside of schools to come together to connect, share resources, and support each other, so that they can do the best for pupils. There is huge opportunity in this work: 95% of those who engaged with the networks we support felt a benefit from them, and 66% believed that their involvement with a network benefitted disadvantaged pupils.

This role sits in the Community Team and is integral to the operationalisation and delivery of our Networks. You’ll work closely with other Network Officers and Network Managers, as well as other parts of the organisation to support high quality experiences that enable programme members and ambassadors to feel more connected, whilst engaging in their development, their community and in our mission.

    • Delivering a smooth membership journey for our Network members. Ensuring engagement is always maximised.

    • Cultivating relationships with ambassadors, alumni and network members via a range of channels and content. Immersing yourself in the Teach First movement.
