Salary: Up to £42,000 per annum (dependent on experience)

The Role
We are looking for a dedicated and experienced Transport Manager for our Blenheim division to ensure the safe, compliant and efficient operation of all vehicles and drivers under our Operator Licence. You will play a key role in keeping our transport services running smoothly, supporting schools and colleagues, and ensuring that all statutory and safety requirements are met.
What You’ll Be Doing
Ensuring full compliance with all Operator Licence requirements
Verifying drivers have the correct and valid licences
Overseeing tachograph calibrations and drivers’ hours compliance
Ensuring all vehicles are safe, roadworthy and maintained to regulatory standards
Managing daily walkaround checks and driver defect reporting
Coordinating repairs, inspections and maintenance with external providers
Maintaining accurate records of inspections, defects and service history
Supporting daily transport operations, timetabling and vehicle allocation
Handling incident reporting, investigation and resolution
Acting as the main point of contact for the Office of the Traffic Commissioner
Providing updates, guidance and best practice across transport operations
Maintaining transport documentation, logs and compliance records
Identifying opportunities to improve safety, efficiency and compliance
Essential Experience & Skills
Category D Driving Licence
Transport Manager Certificate of Professional Competence (CPC)
Strong understanding of passenger transport legislation and compliance
Experience managing transport operations, vehicles and drivers
Confident using digital systems and transport‑related software
Excellent attention to detail and a methodical, thorough approach
Desirable
Previous responsibility for an Operator Licence
Excellent communication and stakeholder‑management skills
Ability to work collaboratively with internal and external teams
