Are you a DevOps Engineer who wants your work to have a real, positive impact? Do you thrive in a team that’s supportive, forward-thinking, and knows how to have fun while getting things done? If so, we’d love to meet you.
At Animal Friends, we're not just an insurance company; we're a force for good, and we're looking for a passionate DevOps Engineer to join our brilliant and growing IT team. This isn't just a job; it's a chance to be a quality champion, shaping the very foundation of our technology and helping us work smarter for the long term.
You'll be at the heart of our technical teams, working closely with Architecture, Development, QA, and DataOps to automate, enhance, and streamline our processes. Your mission will be to improve our entire IT ecosystem through clever automation, robust architecture, and a keen eye for quality.
What you’ll be doing:
Championing Quality: You'll build and manage our observability stack (Prometheus, Grafana, Loki) and automate QA processes to give us clear, actionable feedback.
Driving Automation: You'll use your Infrastructure as Code skills (we love Terraform, Helm, and ArgoCD) to automate the deployment of our cloud architecture and applications.
Shaping Our Architecture: You'll have a key voice in designing and securing our microservices architecture within our extensive Azure cloud environment, managing our AKS clusters and Istio service mesh.
Making an Impact: You’ll see your work directly improve the effectiveness of our teams and the quality of the services we provide to our customers.
We're looking for someone with:
Extensive experience in the Azure Cloud, including AKS, Networking, and Databases.
A real passion for Infrastructure as Code (IaC) and CI/CD, with tools like Terraform, Helm, and Azure DevOps.
A solid understanding of building and maintaining a full observability stack.
A collaborative spirit, excellent communication skills, and a genuine desire to improve systems and processes.
Experience with Istio Service Mesh is a huge plus!
