We need a Senior Data Engineer to design, build, and maintain scalable data pipelines and warehouse structures. This is a hands-on role for someone with strong SQL, real ETL development experience, and good working knowledge of cloud data platforms. You will own the day-to-day build and keep the data flowing cleanly for the teams that rely on it.
Required Skills & Experience for the Senior Data Engineer:
Strong SQL, including performance tuning on large datasets.
Proven ETL development and data pipeline orchestration experience.
Hands-on experience with a cloud data platform such as Snowflake, BigQuery, or Redshift.
Track record of building and maintaining scalable warehouse structures.
Comfortable working alongside analysts and BI teams to deliver what they need.
Solid grasp of data modelling and data quality.
Key Responsibilities for the Senior Data Engineer:
Design, build, and maintain ETL pipelines and data warehouse structures.
Orchestrate data pipelines and keep them running reliably day to day.
Write and tune SQL for performance across large datasets.
Work with cloud data platforms such as Snowflake, BigQuery, or Redshift.
Partner with analysts and BI teams to turn their requirements into clean, usable data.
Monitor, troubleshoot, and improve existing warehouse processes.
Keep designs, workflows, and support steps documented so the build is easy to maintain.
