    At The University of Law, we’re looking for a Research Administrator to join our Library & Learning Skills (LLS) service. 

    LLS at the University of Law provides the professional expertise and high quality, relevant, accessible resources to equip our students and staff with the information literacy, digital and academic skills to navigate learning and teaching at the University of Law with confidence, and to excel in their lives beyond. LLS colleagues (c.40 individuals) may work at a physical campus, remotely, or both, but there is a focus on collaboration across teams and locations, and opportunities to develop and support one another in every role. 

    As our Research Administrator, you will be assisting with research-related processes, maintaining accurate records, and supporting researchers and the Researcher Support Manager with compliance, reporting, and coordination activities. 

    You will be responsible for: 

    • Providing day-to-day administrative assistance for research support activities 

    • Answering routine queries from researchers and providing basic training  

    • Maintaining accurate and accessible research-related records, including in the University’s institutional repository  

    • Assisting in the preparation of research-related reports and documentation  

    • Organising meetings, taking minutes and following up on actions  

    Is this you?: 

    • Transferrable experience from an administrative role  

    • Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to develop effective relationships with internal and external stakeholders  

    • Able to work on own initiative and prioritise own workload  

    • Proactive and flexible
