Touch Medical Media Services Ltd. is seeking a dynamic Commissioning and Content Editor to join the team and take ownership of content across several therapy area platforms.
As a therapy area lead, you will be responsible for researching and understanding your therapy area landscapes to identify key clinical themes, emerging topics, major developments and conference updates that should be covered across the platform. You will translate these insights into a strong content pipeline, commissioning peer-reviewed journal articles, writing short articles and conducting conference interviews and expert Q&As with leading specialists in the field. You will build and develop relationships with leading experts, including attending major international medical conferences. The role also involves embracing AI tools to support with writing and editing news coverage for your therapy area platforms, and ensuring content is timely, accurate, engaging and relevant to busy healthcare professionals.

Key responsibilities
Take responsibility for content published in several therapy areas within Touch Medical Media.
Research therapy area trends and industry developments to identify key content themes and opportunities.
Commission journal articles in-line with the research trends, focusing on unmet needs around upcoming and recent drug approvals.
Create news and conference coverage in both written and video formats for your therapy area platforms, utilizing LLMs, such as ChatGPT and Claude, as a writing and editing tool.
Commission short articles and interviews with leading experts for your therapy area platforms.
Develop the Editorial Board for your therapy areas, including researching and recruiting new members.
Collaborate with Editorial Board members, Editors-in-Chief and leading experts to ensure the highest quality of content.
Commission video content with leading experts at the major medical meetings.
Review and sign off video content following production and ensure timely publication on the website.
Ensure major publishing guidelines (GPP-3, ICMJE, COPE) are adhered to at all times.
Providing support and collecting information relating to proposals and projects from the touchIME and TMC teams.
Key attributes / skills / competencies
2+ years’ experience within medical communications or publishing.
Degree in a life science, biology, or a related scientific discipline.
Experience with using LLMs, such as Claude, is essential.
Good understanding of publication practices (GPP-3, ICMJE, COPE).
Experience of building relationships with leading experts in medicine.
Fantastic attention to detail.
Good team player.
Proven organisational and planning abilities.
Proactivity and problem-solving skills.
Excellent written and oral communication skills.
