Role Outline:
We are seeking an exceptional Team Leader to oversee a dedicated team of clinicians at one of our esteemed client sites. In this role, you will take responsibility for the day-to-day supervision, management, and motivation of team members, ensuring the delivery of high-quality services. Your team will consist of Nurses with varying levels of expertise, ranging from newly appointed professionals to highly experienced Occupational Health Nurses (OHNs) and Occupational Health Advisers (OHAs).
As a Remote Team Leader, you will serve as the primary point of contact for your team, requiring outstanding communication and interpersonal skills. You will be expected to take a proactive approach to foster smooth team operations and promote effective collaboration. Ultimately, you will lead by example, inspire your team, and drive them towards achieving their objectives and delivering excellence.
What you’ll be doing
Create an inspiring team environment with an open communication culture
Check in with your team on a weekly basis
Conduct at site checks of your team’s performance & equipment ensuring standards maintained
Conduct regular client meetings to review their service
Conduct annual and probation reviews of your team
Review customer feedback with your team
Manage holiday and leave requests in conjunction programme and workforce planning
Manage team absence
Set clear team goals
Monitor team performance and report on metrics
Motivate team members
Discover training needs and provide coaching
Listen to team members’ feedback and resolve any issues or conflicts
Recognize high performance and reward accomplishments
Suggest and help to organize team building activities
Intermittent travel to other sites to support clinical team
What we are looking for:
We are looking for a qualified professional in Occupational Health (OH) who is fully competent in carrying out all aspects of OH work. The ideal candidate will possess excellent verbal and written communication, presentation, and reasoning skills, alongside strong decision-making abilities. Proficiency in IT, including a good working knowledge of Office 365, is essential. The role requires the ability to effectively coordinate others remotely and a proactive approach to problem-solving.
